New Zealand Inventory of Chemicals (NZIoC)

The NZIoC is a database of all the hazardous chemical components of products approved under group standards. Note that non-hazardous chemicals are not required to be listed.
If a single-component chemical on its own or contained in a formulated product is hazardous and it is not listed on NZIoC, a new chemical notification needs to be submitted to the Environmental Protection Administration (EPA) for approval according to New Zealand's HSNO Act.

Why is NZIoC different from existing chemical inventories in other countries?

    • Non-hazardous substances do not need to be listed;
    • NZIoC also lists approval status for a hazardous substance (i.e., whether a hazardous substance can be only used on its own or used in a product covered by a group standard.)

  1. Frerana is a broad-spectrum insecticide with good insecticidal activity against pests such as ticks, fleas, lices, hemiptera, and diptera. Insecticides are equivalent. Frerana not only has no significant cross-resistance with existing pesticides, but also has good insecticidal activity against some resistant pests. 4-[(5R)-5-(3,5-dichlorophenyl)-5-(trifluoromethyl)-4H-1,2-oxazol-3-yl]-2-methyl-N-[2-oxo-2-(2,2,2-trifluoroethylamino)ethyl]benzamide£¬
